Velvet, Beautiful Petite Girl

Meet our adorably petite girl named Velvet! Velvet is about 3.5 years old and we believe she is a Balinese or Balinese mix. She came to our shelter after her owner was no longer able to care for her properly. Velvet is a friendly girl who enjoys a nice head rub or butt scratch. She enjoys being around other cats and she is a clean girl with her litter box. Velvet can get a little ornery when you mess with her too much or move too quickly for her. She is fine being picked up to be moved. Velvet is a beautiful cat who deserves to be in a loving home! Velvet is good with other cats, but she is extremely uncomfortable around dogs and will lash out at them. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.<br/>Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.<br/><br/>An approved application does not guarantee an adoption.
