Meet Velma

Hi, my name is Velma! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Shy at first but a sweetie once you get to know her.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history but she may do okay as long as they are properly introduced.
-Can Live with Dogs: Dogs would likely be too scary for her.
-Can Live with Kids: Kids aged 10 and up should be okay as long as they respect my body language!
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Not required but always recommended.
-History of Litter Box Issues: No
-Energy Level: Moderate
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes a spay
Additional Information: Velma came to the shelter as a stray with her babies. Her babies were old enough to be on their own so we went ahead and separated them since Velma was telling us she needed a break! She is now looking for her forever home. Since she did come in as a stray we really don't know too much about her history or how she does with other cats or dogs. Due to her being a little timid and afraid of loud noises she would like to go to a home without dogs. Other feline friends may be okay but will need a very slow introduction. Velma is also a little shy with people at first, but once she knows she's safe she really enjoys cheek scratches and playing in catnip. If you think Velma is the right kitty for you please fill out an application!
