Velda is a playful, savvy, 3-year-old cat looking for her forever home.

This pretty girl likes to play with a wide variety of toys, especially the ones with catnip that get her rolling around! She enjoys a good play session in the cat tower, while being entertained by the other cats in her foster home. After some solid playtime, Velda is happy to check out the neighborhood birds and snooze in the warm sun.

Velda lives with me (her foster mom), my 13-year-old son, one male cat, and one female cat in a house.

Although Velda does like to watch the shenanigans of the other cats in her home, she tends to not interact that much with them. She is still learning how to play with them in a gentler manner. Overall, Velda does fine with cats that give her space but would also probably be okay as a solo cat, with humans who were around to keep her company. She hasn’t met any dogs yet but gets along great with older children and teens.

Velda is definitely not shy whenever visitors come over and enjoys people. If you pick her up and hold her, she will let you; however, if you sit down, she may decide it’s time to go explore elsewhere! Her quirks are part of her charm. She is a playful gal with a personality and will be a lively presence in any home.
