Vee's Story
Meet Vee!

Okay, we're going to ask you to look past the photo when it comes to Vee.

This beautiful 3-year-old tuxedo girl is currently spending her time hiding at Homeward Bound, which explains why her profile picture isn't exactly capturing her best side. But we promise, there's a very sweet girl behind that hiding spot who's just waiting to feel safe enough to show herself.

Vee recently arrived at Homeward Bound after her previous person experienced homelessness and could no longer safely care for her. She came in with two other cats, and we're happy to say both of her feline friends have already been adopted!

Now it's Vee's turn.

And Vee is going to need someone who understands that sometimes the quietest cats have the biggest hearts.

She's friendly, shy and timid at first. A busy environment isn't really her thing, and right now, she's understandably overwhelmed by all the changes in her life.

But once she opens up?

Oh, that girl is SWEET.

Vee enjoys sitting in laps and will happily snuggle once she feels comfortable. She's not a huge fan of being picked up, but give her a cozy lap and the choice to come to you, and she's much happier.

She's also a little sassy at times-but it's the generally gentle kind of sass. And she seems to do best with fewer pets around, so a quieter home where she can have plenty of one-on-one attention could be just what she needs.

Vee is:

Gorgeous black-and-white tuxedo
Shy & timid at first
Very sweet once she trusts you
Loves sitting in laps
Can be a snuggler once she's comfortable
Does best in calm, quiet environments
Litter box trained
Likely happiest as an only cat or with very few other pets

We think Vee could be an amazing companion for someone looking for a quieter, gentle kitty who will gradually become their little shadow.

She doesn't need someone to pull her out of her hiding spot and demand that she be social.

She needs someone who will sit nearby and say:

"It's okay, Vee. You can come out when you're ready."

And when she does?

We have a feeling you're going to wonder how you ever lived without her.

Come meet Vee at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions and give this beautiful tuxie the patience and peaceful home she needs to let her true personality shine.
