Urza is a 9 month old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped!

Meet Urza! This gorgeous gal is enjoying the good things that indoor life and humans have to offer and is looking for an understanding home who can further expand her horizons. Urza went into foster care for being shy and under socialized (and she was the sassiest of her litter!), but now this gal LOVES to play (with wand toys especially) and likes full-body pets (minus the belly of course). She keeps getting sweeter and really has become so brave when allowed to flourish on her terms. At this moment, she's not really a lap kitty or enjoys being carried, but she will take any pets you're willing to give (and any Temptations Puree treats). Toys and wet food (in moderation) are the key to her heart alongside taking things at her pace in a secluded space (she especially loves her hidey spot). Due to her great evading skills and initial skepticism of new people and places, a confined environment such as a nearly-empty spare bedroom or bathroom is the best way to gain trust and build a positive relationship with her new fam! Ask our staff for tips to best incorporate a shyer friend into the home!

Urza lives with other cats in foster and does great, but we do not require she go home with another cat (cats are companion animals and usually do well with others), so she would likely do well with new kitty friends. Because of her skittish nature, she would best flourish in a home with children over 8yrs old who can control their impulse for sudden, fast, and urgent movement and small, low-energy dogs (as long as proper interactions are done and enforced).
