Uno is all dressed up and looking for a place to shine! This handsome tuxedo boy is a native of Clarks Grove where he decided he wanted more from life and he came visiting to one of our fosters. She promised him she would help him find the life he wants. So now Uno, who was born in September of 2023, is waiting for you to come and sweep him off of his paws! He lived with other cats in his previous life, so he's good with having cat friends and probably other friends too as long as they love cats!!

All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org

When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.

Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.

If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
