TUNA's Story

TUNA is a darling BLACK AND WHITE BAMBINO (Sphynx/Munchkin cross). He is 2 years old, neutered, has his claws and weighs around 8 pounds. He has short little legs and an average size cat head and body so he’s an interesting dude!

The best description of this little guy would be NAKED VELCRO. If you take a look at the video below you will see how much this kitty loves to be held, loves to be doted on and wants to be an integral part of someone’s life. He is VERY INTENSE.

Tuna came to us from a shelter where he was left with another sphynx. We suspect they were excess breeders. Regardless, they were fully vetted, including dentals, and are in great health.

Tuna will get along with other cats when slowly introduced. He would probably be ok with a gentle dog and older kids that would dote on him. The best home for this cat would be one familiar with the needs and personality of the Sphynx breed. He needs a family that will give him a lot of attention and he will reward them with being the best cuddle buddy!

ADOPTION FEE $500. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA WI.

Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
