TUCKER*'s Story
Meet Tucker, the gorgeous brown tabby. Tucker came to the Shelter with kittens in tow. They have all been weaned and adopted. Now Tucker is looking to be the apple of someone’s eye. Some people who knew Tucker prior to the Shelter report that she is friendly and playful and, once she gets to know her people, even comes when called. Although she has been indoor/outdoor previously, we do want to ensure that she is safe from wildlife, dogs and other dangers like cars. A home with safe catio access (ideally) or supervised indoor/outdoor access may be a fit after a period of acclimation. Tucker also has experience around children as young as 8 years of age. Tucker is looking for the purrrfect home. Could that be with you? Tucker is available for pre-adoption. You can come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Tucker's adoption has been sponsored by a generous donor! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
