She loves attention and will follow you from room to room to be near you. Trudy is a calm and quiet girl who enjoys being pet. She loves getting brushed and is very good about getting her face cleaned. Although she likes attention, she is not demanding of it and is super easy to have around. She is mellow and goes with the flow. Trudy is content to simply be in the same room with you. However, if you would like to give her some attention, she would happily soak it up! Unfortunately, she does not like the company of other cats, but is okay with respectful dogs who give her space. She is good with men, women, and children (10 and up) and seems to like anyone who shows her love and affection. Trudy has a head tilt which may have been from an untreated inner ear infection. It doesn’t affect her ability to walk or move about, and is simply an endearing characteristic which makes her that much cuter! Otherwise, she is a healthy, happy cat. An ideal home for Trudy would be with a person/couple/family that is home for a good part of the day who can spend quality time with her. She will keep you company while you watch television, read, knit, etc. without bothering you…just an adorable buddy to spend time with you. She is pretty much a perfect kitty and would love to have someone special to be her new best friend! Spayed, vaxed, and microchipped. Fostered on the Florida West coast and available for adoption within most of the US. Adoption fee of $350. Transport costs additional. Florida Persian and Exotic Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

WE WILL NOT ANSWER INQUIRIES ASKING IF A CERTAIN CAT IS AVAILABLE. If its listed as adoptable, then its available. If you don't see it listed, it isn't! We also will NOT be answering inquiries asking if the application was received. If you submit online and get the "Thank you for submitting" page, then we got it. 1. Complete the application, in full, and submit. Must be at least 24 yrs old. 2. Conduct a brief phone interview. 3. Home ownership or landlord approval will be verified and both personal and veterinary references contacted. 4. If adopting out of state, a zoom call to do a home check is completed. If adopting within Florida, the home visit will be done in person Please note, we are a small, all volunteer rescue. While we strive to process applications as quickly as possible, it can take up to 1-2 weeks to get through the entire process. We ask that you understand that we all have full-time jobs in addition to our dedication to the rescue; as well as families of our own and emergencies always arise.
