They were simply the place I was left behind.<br/><br/>By the time I was rescued, my coat was severely matted, pulling painfully against my skin. To give me some relief, I was given a stylish lion cut. Underneath all that tangled and neglected fur, I was a cat that had a long journey to heal.<br/><br/>I have been in rescue for about six months; during that time, I have slowly begun to transform and gradually gain confidence.<br/><br/>I am beginning to trust people. I am learning that gentle hands can bring comfort, that a soft voice can mean safety, and that I don't have to always be afraid.<br/><br/>Because of what I've been through, I am looking for a home without young children or dogs. I need a peaceful environment where I feel secure, can settle in and build a trusting relationship with my person without feeling overwhelmed.<br/><br/>I am a sweet, gentle, talkative soul who has survived so much and still wants to believe in people.<br/><br/>Most importantly, I am an indoor-only cat. After surviving the streets, I deserve to spend the rest of my life safe inside, surrounded by comfort, warmth, and love.<br/><br/>And the good news is that I'm fully vetted and ready for my forever home. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
