Tommy's Story

Tommy is very shy initially, but as he gets more comfortable with you he is a playful and energetic boy with a lot of love to share. Unfortunately, his current owner has developed a severe allergy and can not keep him. Despite having tried hard, Tommy is in need of a new loving home.

He has spent the past year and a half with his current family - two adults, two children. He's currently staying with his "grandfather" in Brookline, MA and it has only taken a few days for him to adjust to his new surroundings. We think he will do well after a slow introduction to any new situation.

He's been an only cat for the past year and a half, but prior to that he was very friendly with his foster mate kittens, despite being one of the oldest kittens in the foster room. He was gentle while playing with the younger kittens, and could often be found in a bed surrounded by younger kittens.

He enjoys all kinds of food, toys, and all cat things according to his current owner. He has been vaccinated for rabies within the last year and is regularly seen by a vet.

Tommy is neutered, microchipped, Felv/FIV negative and current on his Rabies vaccination. For more information or to find a time to meet him, please contact us through PetFinder, or you can reach out to his owner directly:
Angel Valchinov
angelvalchinov@gmail.com

Stow Kittens's Adoption Policy
Adoptions are done on a first meet, first adopt basis. Anyone interested in adopting a cat or kitten will come to the house(s) to meet all of the available kittens. That way you can see how the kittens react to everyone in order to make the best decision about which cat or kitten (if any) are the right fit. You must meet the kittens in order to adopt; we do not hold or reserve kittens. There's a short online adoption application to fill out (https://forms.gle/7Q5rgksyWFZ3RHNs8), as well as an adoption agreement you'll be asked to sign at the time of the adoption. We request that you provide a lifelong loving indoor home, provide regular Veterinary care, and do not have them declawed. A donation to Red Clay Animal Rescue is requested at the time of adoption. This covers what has been done for the kittens so far (spay/neuter, microchip, felv/fiv testing, deworming, initial vaccines). Some people have generously given a little extra to help support continued rescue efforts and more extensive care that is needed by some of the kittens. Donations can be made via cash, check, Venmo or PayPal. Since Red Clay is a 501c3 organization, the donation form doubles as a receipt for tax purposes.
