Our Mission

"Every cat deserves a loving home."

Adoption Policy

Adoptions are done on a first meet, first adopt basis. Anyone interested in adopting a cat or kitten will come to the house(s) to meet all of the available kittens. That way you can see how the kittens react to everyone in order to make the best decision about which cat or kitten (if any) are the right fit. You must meet the kittens in order to adopt; we do not hold or reserve kittens.

There's no application to fill out, but there is an adoption agreement you'll be asked to sign at the time of the adoption. We request that you provide a lifelong loving indoor home, provide regular Veterinary care, and do not have them declawed.

A donation to Red Clay Animal Rescue is requested at the time of adoption. This covers what has been done for the kittens so far (spay/neuter, microchip, felv/fiv testing, deworming, initial vaccines). Some people have generously given a little extra to help support continued rescue efforts and more extensive care that is needed by some of the kittens. Donations can be made via cash, check, Venmo or PayPal. Since Red Clay is a 501c3 organization, the donation form doubles as a receipt for tax purposes.
