Tomasina's Story

Tomasina (4 years old)

Tomasina is a beautiful torbico cat with pale green eyes and very soft fur. She is affectionate, but like the line from the old bluegrass song, she feels that she is "too old to be controlled.” A true torti, she knows her boundaries, and she will let you know what they are. She’s a little surprised to find herself in the shelter, and she’s deciding between being a sweet friendly kitty or someone who hisses because some sights and sounds are unfamiliar to her. She’ll gradually relax and choose the former, given time, patience, and understanding. She loves to knead her paws on a soft blanket and appreciates high places to curl up in and sunny windows to enjoy. If you respect Tomasina’s torti-tude and have a calm home where she can be your one and only, you will discover a cat who dearly wants attention and would love to forge a friendship with you.

OK with Dogs
: Unknown
OK with Cats
: Unknown~very selective
OK with Kids
: Unknown; unlikely due to tortitude
