Toby (c2026)'s Story

Hi, I'm Toby - professional explorer, certified cuddle enthusiast, and full-time play machine.
I got my start in the Belmont Gardens neighborhood of Chicago, where life took an unexpected turn. When my first family had to leave, I was suddenly on my own. But don't worry - I landed on my paws. A kind neighbor scooped me up, and before long I was on a little adventure of my own, meeting a TNR human who made sure I got somewhere safe. That journey led me right here, where I've been leveling up my skills in being the best kitten ever.
And let me tell you... I am all about PLAY. Feather toys? Yes. String? Absolutely. Your shoelaces while you're trying to walk? Even better. I've got energy for days and curiosity to match. If there's something new to explore, I must investigate.
But I'm not just about action - I've got a soft side too. I actually like being held (I know, rare talent), and I'll happily settle into your arms when I'm done zooming around. Think of me as the perfect balance: fun when you want it, sweet when you need it.
Oh, and just so you know - I'm a dry food kind of guy. Kibble over pate, please. A refined palate, you could say. Although the nice humans at the adoption center are trying to help me find the right wet food.

I'm a friendly, affectionate, endlessly entertaining cat who is ready to make your home my playground (and yours too).
So... what do you say? Ready to keep up with me?
