Theodore Manx Vine Grove, KY

Theodore came to ARC in very bad shape. He was dumped in our carport in the middle of the night in a cardboard box right before an ice storm. He was heavily matted, caked in his own feces, emaciated, scared and confused. Once he was cleaned up and vetted, it turns out he was diabetic and has arthritis. He now gets regular doses of insulin for his diabetes and supplements for his arthritis. He has quite the personality now that he is feeling better!

It's not all bad news for Theodore! During this journey, Theodore found his soul mate, Sashay. She is a Manx cat as well, and they share early bird dinners, comfy beds and arthritis supplements. Unfortunately, Sashay passed away, but he is now friends with the other kitties in the seniors room. He likes to snuggle with Margo and hang out with Shaun. He is a pretty social guy who is laid back and loving.

If you are interested in Theodore and willing to provide a loving and comfortable home... and administer insulin and other medication, but are concerned about costly medical issues and life-long medications, consider fostering! We'll cover the costs of vet visits, medication, etc. while you provide a wonderful home for him to enjoy his twilight years together!
