The Roof Kittens (Nook - tabby girl, Dusty - fluffy boy)

These babies were found under the roof of a car port where their sweet momma was keeping them protected. We were called out to see if we can rescue them as it was getting really hot in the area where they were hiding and there was concern, they would be falling down.<br/><br/>There were five babies, but 3 have been adopted.<br/><br/>Now Dusty and Nook remain, and they are waiting for their forever family. They are 1 1/2-year-old. <br/><br/>Dusty is a medium hair boy. Nook is a beautiful tabby girl.<br/><br/>They are well taken care of and love their foster family, but they are shy. They will need to go to a home with another young cat that can provide companionship and confidence or better yet, with each other. <br/><br/>UPDATE: The foster family is moving and Nook and Dusty need to find their forever home before August 1st.<br/><br/>Here is what their foster moms had to say about them-<br/><br/>Dusty:<br/>Dusty is a handsome, sweet kitty with a chill personality. He loves to look at the birds out the window, lay in the sun and play with his sister, Nook. He's mostly independent and a little on the shy side with strangers but once he warms up, he likes to hang out with you on the couch and follow you around the house looking for pets. When he sees you walk into a room, he gives a cute little chirp and flops over on his back for pets.<br/><br/>Nook:<br/>Nook is a sweet, curious and playful little lady. She loves to lounge in the sun, drink water from the faucet and chase her brother, Dusty, around the house. She's pretty independent and shy at first but will cuddle with you under the covers after she warms up to you. She has the softest fur and her cute little chirps when she wants some pets are sweetest little sound.
