Meet Tempeh

Tempeh is a sweet, somewhat klutzy young man. He is a great conversationalist and will answer when you speak to him. Mostly black with a patch of white between his back legs, he has thick fur and HUGE eyes. Tempeh is active and spends much of his time climbing the cat trees in his foster home. We are sure he will love toys once he figures out what to do with them. He is also very affectionate and interrupts his climbing to run to his foster mom for pets and cuddles. He has quite the purr engine.
Because he came from a household with too many cats, Tempeh is a bit starved for affection and doesn't believe empty food bowls will magically be refilled (but he is learning). He is doing well with scoopable clay litter, but ignores the second litter box that has pine pellets. Tempeh is a pretty confident fellow. With some patience and direction, he will blossom into the kind of cat that believes spoiling and adoration are exactly what he deserves. (Wondering about his name?
