He was dropped off at one of our shelter partners as a stray with a severely malformed leg. The shelter reached out to us to ensure he received the medical care he needed, and after careful evaluation, it was determined that an amputation would give him the best chance at a happy, pain-free life.<br/><br/>Now fully healed and feeling fantastic, Swiffer is ready to find a family of his own.<br/><br/>Don't let his three legs fool you, this fluffy little guy doesn't miss a beat. He races through the house, tackles toys with enthusiasm, and has already earned a reputation as a champion wrestler. Outgoing, curious, and full of kitten energy, Swiffer approaches every day like it's a brand-new adventure waiting to happen.<br/><br/>He absolutely loves people, is endlessly entertained by toys, and wants to be involved in everything you're doing. Due to concerns about Single Kitten Syndrome (SKS), young kittens are not eligible for solo adoption unless there is already a young kitty of similar energy in the home. <br/><br/>What is Single Kitten Syndrome?<br/><br/>Single Kitten Syndrome occurs when young kittens are adopted alone. Without a feline playmate, they may develop behavioral issues such as:<br/><br/> Aggression or anxiety<br/> Inappropriate chewing or scratching<br/> Litter box avoidance<br/> Difficulty adjusting to new pets or children later in life<br/><br/>While not all single kittens experience these challenges, its a common reason cats are rehomed later. The best way to prevent SKS is to adopt kittens in pairs or ensure there is already a playful, compatible cat in the home.
