Thankfully, a dedicated rescuer was able to bring her to safety, where she received the care, love, and medical attention she needed to begin her new life.<br/><br/>Now about one year old, Savannah is as beautiful as she is loving. Her soft, glowing white coat and striking golden eyes give her an elegant presence, but it’s her enthusiastic and affectionate personality that truly captures hearts. She enjoys toys and lots playful moments, and will need an environment where she has stimulation from toys, human interactions, maybe windows to watch outside activities, etc. She's very curious and doesn't like being shut away from the action and activities of the home. She loves being near her people—following you from room to room, catching an occasional bug that sneaks in, curling up beside you, and purring contentedly. Her favorite television viewing is Youtube cat videos of bird feeders, squirrels, or even a nature documentary - but she promises not to complain if her family choose a good drama flick.<br/><br/>Savannah would do well as the only cat in a home where she can soak up all the love, chill with some Netflix time, and have lots of interactions. She is in a foster space with other cats so that's an option with a gradual introduction. She's very smart so foster mom thinks she could easily be taught some commands and tricks. She may even be open to walking with a harness and leash. Savannah is a confident cat and could likely be successfully introduced to a cat-friendly dog. <br/><br/>Savannah is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, combo tested negative, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Her adoption fee is $225, which helps cover some of her vetting, travel, and care—and importantly, allows funds to be returned to the Egyptian rescuers who saved her, so they can continue their lifesaving work helping other cats in need.<br/><br/>Currently fostered in Burke, VA, Savannah is ready to leave her past behind and begin a life filled with love, safety, and belonging.
