Stone (Working Cat)'s Story
Stone is a working cat. Cats that are a part of our Working Cat Program have been chosen because they do not like to be handled or picked up. You should not have expectations that the cat will be friendly or social. There is no fee to adopt a working cat. The adopter provides food, water, medical care and a warm safe place for the cats. Our working cats are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper and have a microchip. For more information email the Adoption Team at adoption@hspcwi.org. If you are interested in adopting a working cat, please submit an online application. When your application is approved, the Adoption Team will contact you to schedule an appointment to adopt. Here is a link to our online adoption applications www.hspcwi.org/adopt. Look for the option Outside/Working Cat Application.
