Meet Stitch<br/><br/>Stitch is a handsome, long and sleek grey boy who has come such a long way since arriving in rescue with his littermates. Born in mid-May, Stitch and his siblings came into rescue as a very spicy bunch, but this sweet boy has been making wonderful progress and discovering that people can be pretty great.<br/><br/>Stitch is still a little wary when it comes to being touched or picked up. In fact, he has a funny little routine: he’ll happily curl up right next to you on the couch and enjoy some gentle petting... right up until he realizes, “Wait a minute—you’re TOUCHING me!” and off he goes! He’s learning to trust and will need a patient adopter who is willing to let him continue building confidence at his own pace.<br/><br/>When he’s not busy practicing his couch cuddles, Stitch is very playful and always interested in a good time. He is also extremely treat motivated, with Churu treats and freeze-dried minnows ranking among his favorite things. The way to Stitch’s heart may very well be through snacks!<br/><br/>Stitch is wonderful with other cats and seems especially fond of older male cats. He absolutely adores the older resident male cat in his foster home and can often be found cuddled up beside his buddy. He is also good with dogs, making him a great candidate for a multi-pet home.<br/><br/>Stitch may not be the kitten who immediately leaps into your arms, but he has so much personality and potential. With patience, consistency, playtime, and plenty of treats, this handsome boy is sure to keep blossoming.<br/><br/>Stitch is looking for a patient, understanding family who will celebrate his progress and give him the time he needs to become the confident companion he’s meant to be.<br/><br/><br/>--<br/>Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.<br/><br/>All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
