Meet Stevie Wonder
Handsome Hunk Alert!!!
Have you hopped on over to Petco Romeoville yet to meet this handsome guy? If you haven't, you are definitely missing out! Stevie Wonder is a pretty typical 6 yr old cat in just about every way. He LOVES to play, he loves to eat, he loves to nap, he loves to talk to you, and he loves to be pet and give affection for exactly when he wants it and for exactly how long he wants it. Where he is a little different from most cats, is that he is vision impaired (which you probably can tell from his eyes). We know they look different, or maybe even a little scary, but they are not painful to him, AND he definitely can see a bit! His eyes are basically covered in old scar tissue from some type of infection or virus he had prior to being found stray. Our vets have evaluated his eyes thoroughly, and we have all decided he is just fine the way he is! Stevie is a very happy guy, who is waiting for just the right family to come and scoop him up. Due to his vision impairments, he will need a family willing to take the extra mile to help him learn and acclimate to the surroundings slowly so he is safe, potentially adding baby gates to stairs or using other easy strategies to help him be the independent, outgoing kitty he is -safely. We will be happy to provide all of the support you and Stevie need to help get him acclimated to your home, and teach your family how to care for a special needs kitty!
