Sadie is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. She takes her cues from Sterling, who is more outgoing and LOVES pets!!! While not lap cats, they will gladly snuggle right next to you and join you in bed.<br/>Sadie does have an eye condition that occasionally requires drops. She takes them easily while being groomed or pet. Both enjoy brushing.<br/>Sadie and Sterling are ready to share their love with a new family. They are ok with one or two independent or aloof cats. No dogs. Older kids please (over 12).<br/>Healthy, fully vetted. Fostered in Central Florida. Available for adoption within most of the US. Adoption fee of $350 for both. Florida Persian and Exotic Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
WE WILL NOT ANSWER INQUIRIES ASKING IF A CERTAIN CAT IS AVAILABLE. If its listed as adoptable, then its available. If you don't see it listed, it isn't! We also will NOT be answering inquiries asking if the application was received. If you submit online and get the "Thank you for submitting" page, then we got it. 1. Complete the application, in full, and submit. Must be at least 24 yrs old. 2. Conduct a brief phone interview. 3. Home ownership or landlord approval will be verified and both personal and veterinary references contacted. 4. If adopting out of state, a zoom call to do a home check is completed. If adopting within Florida, the home visit will be done in person Please note, we are a small, all volunteer rescue. While we strive to process applications as quickly as possible, it can take up to 1-2 weeks to get through the entire process. We ask that you understand that we all have full-time jobs in addition to our dedication to the rescue; as well as families of our own and emergencies always arise.
