Beautiful Tessie is a year old. She was rescued from a cat colony when she was trapped for TNR and found to be friendly! She is missing half of her back left leg. It’s unknown if this was caused by injury or present at birth-but she doesn’t let this slow her down at all!! Tessie has made Incredible progress since moving inside! She is quite timid, but has really blossomed into a braver girl. She loves to come visit and snuggle if you’re sitting or lounging on the couch and she’ll sleep on you at night. She’s extra pretty when she’s napping in sunbeams ??
Tessie is looking for a forever home that has another friendly cat or cats. She plays and naps with the 3 resident cats. Her foster family has a big, quiet dog so she would be ok with a quiet, gentle dog. She’s in a house with teens, but she prefers a little less action going on around her. She likes to play with other kitties, loves to attack small stuffed toys, she’s very vocal and has the sweetest voice. Her foster mom believes that she will continue to open up even more as she continues to learn how to trust humans and be a cat! She will make such a wonderful forever kitty!
Tessie will be available to meet at her foster home. She does fine in a carrier but to keep her stress level down after coming so far, she is best to meet in her current home.
Tessie is spayed, current on FVRCP and rabies vaccines, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FELV. She has been fully examined by a vet to evaluate her legs and spine and has no issues.
