Spoon's Story

Meet Spoon, a stunning little void who is solid black from her whiskers all the way down to her tiny toe beans. While she may be the master of the “stealth look,” her big, vibrant personality will steal your heart the second you meet her. Spoon is an absolute lovebug who is always ready to bond with her favorite humans, but she definitely comes with a hilarious flair for the dramatic.

Whenever she and her sister, Sundae, get into a typical wrestling match, Spoon makes sure the entire house hears about it by loudly voicing her complaints. She is a true vocal superstar who is never shy about sharing her thoughts. If she feels she isn’t getting enough love, she will passionately demand your undivided attention with a chorus of expressive meows.

When she isn’t acting out her favorite soap opera, trying to win an Academy Award for drama, or showering you with affection, she shows off her highly intelligent and observant side. She is perfectly content to sit quietly, tilting her head and lovingly tracking your every move with her bright eyes. This charming, talkative, and deeply loyal girl is the ultimate package of entertainment and pure sweetness.

Spoon is about 8-10 weeks old, spayed, microchipped, has had age-appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/heartworm preventative. She tested negative for both FIV and FeLV.

Adoption Fee: $195.00

Please complete the application below if you are interested in adopting:
https://form.jotform.com/250175174725154

Palmetto Paws Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION THROUGH PALMETTO PAWS: *For each pet listed there is a bio with all details. Please take the time to read the bio in full as questions already answered in the bio will not be responded to. *Completion of the adoption application does not guarantee that you will receive an animal from us. There are many things that we take into consideration when reviewing applications. We reserve the right to deny any applicant. Our goal is to match the right animal with the right home. *We review applications in order received. We don't adopt on a first come, first serve basis. The decision is multifactorial and ultimately based on which applicant we feel is the best match for each pet listed. *Our pets live in private foster homes. We do not foster to adopt. *There is no opportunity to meet multiple listed pets. We meet one on one with approved adopters on Saturdays in Mt Pleasant. We do not host adoption events. If at the time of a meet, all parties agree we have a good match, then the pet goes home at that time. We are not able to "hold" a pet to be adopted at a later date. *We do not consider applications of those not able to meet/adopt on the upcoming Saturday. Please only apply when you are available and ready to adopt. *Adoption fees vary by listed pet and are disclosed in the bio. Applications are only considered for pups listed on Petfinder. We do not keep applications "on file" for a later date. *Most pets listed are mixed breed. We make no representation as to breed mix or potential adult size. ADOPTION APPLICATION If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please read the bio in full prior to submitting an application which can be found on our home page. Incomplete applications are not considered. The question regarding heartworm disease must be answered in full. Heartworm disease is a 100% preventable yet potentially life threatening disease in dogs. We believe every applicant should be well educated regarding heartworm disease and how to prevent it. Please remember that PPAR is an all volunteer organization. We do our best to process applications in a timely manner. The number of pets in our care and the number of applications we receive may influence processing time. Due to the high volume of applications received on certain pets we may only be able to respond to the selected applicant. The minimum age to adopt is 25 years.
