Well hello there! My name is Sophie and I'm hoping that once you learn about me, you'll fill out an adoption application right away!! I am currently in a home with other dogs and cats and while I'm ok with it, I think I would thrive in a home where either I'm an only cat or with cats who will respect my boundaries. I'm just really not a fan of the dogs, they don't respect my boundaries at all. Now, when it comes to people, that's another story! I love my foster mom and dad quite a bit, when the dogs are outside, that's my time to shine and to come out for pets and love. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy, I'm your girl! Love At First Meow Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must complete an adoption application. We will verify that their name and address matches county tax records. If they have existing pets, we will contact their vet to verify that their current pets are sterilized and up to date on vaccines. If they rent their homes, we ask for landlord contact information to verify that they are, in fact, allowed to have a cat. We also ask for two non-family member personal references so that we can contact them to find out more about what kind of pet owners our potential adopters are.
