Smokey Joe is a mellow guy with a talkative personality when he wants love. He’s content to hang out or play, loves to be cuddled and kissed, often leaning his warm head into our necks for extra warmth and affection. Each morning, he enjoys rubbing against our legs, purring happily. He will take affection before food any day! He likes to roll over on his back for a belly rub and enjoy a good scratch along his back, especially with fingernails or a back scratcher. He likes to be held like a baby, on his back or curled right in a ball. He loves dogs, either wandering under their belly and playing games with their tails. He loves to play “fetch” with stuffed mice, chase and wrestle with our other cats, and believes he can catch the tennis ball on TV or the arrow on a computer screen. Foster family says he needs time to trust new people. Please apply only if you have experience with cats that need some time and patience to adjust in a new home. He will reward you with love as he has with his foster family.
