Sluice's Story

Sluice is beautiful, sweet, reserved, affectionate once comfortable, and she loves toys and cat companions

Sluice is a gentle little sweetheart who likes to take things at her own pace. She can be a bit reserved at first and needs just a minute to assess new faces and surroundings. But once she warms up and knows she is safe, her true personality shines: she turns into an absolute love bug who adores attention and cuddles!

Sluice is happiest when she is surrounded by her brothers (Dozer and Loader) and a pile of fun toys. She gains confidence around other friendly felines, making her a great candidate for a home with existing pets or alongside one of her littermates.

If you have a little patience and a lot of love to offer, Sluice will reward you with a lifetime of purrs and devotion. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy
The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match. Pictures of the cat’s new home are always welcome. Visit us at http://www.thefelineconnection.org/ for more details
