Please meet beautiful, petite Skye! Her photos don’t do justice to her fur; she is actually silver in color, hence the name. This one-year old sweetheart cried her way into the home of her rescuers, where one late night she was found meowing from hunger and fear, sitting by their front door. She was welcomed inside immediately, and she instantly knew that her life has changed for better and that she is now safe and protected.

Skye showed her sweet personality from the very first time she stepped inside. She was purring and head-bumping everyone, loving everything she sees and experiences, and she expresses her deep gratitude by rubbing against her object of affection, be it a food bowl or your leg.

She will happily greet you when you come into the room and follow you around curiously watching what you are up to. She loves to be petted and sit on your lap. Once she makes herself comfortable on your lap she will try to kiss your face and show you how much she loves you.

Being a young playful lady, Skye is full of energy and enjoys interacting with all kinds of toys. She will need someone who is willing to play with her when she is not busy napping or watching birds from the window.

She will do best as an only animal in the house and without small children. Teenagers are fine, and Skye would love to be with people who understand her playful, active personality and will help her grow into a beautiful and well-behaved mature lady.

Skye is a healthy, happy girl. She has great litterbox manners and is very respectful of your property. She is fully vetted, including spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV. She loves to eat and is not very selective, so anything you give her to snack on will always be greatly appreciated.
