Sissy Calico & Domestic Long Hair Mix Avondale Estates, GA

Our cat Sister (aka Sissy) is approximately 8 years old. She is a long haired calico. We rescued Sissy when she was around six months old in 2013. She came to us already spayed and vaccinated. She has always been an indoor cat. You would never know it to look at her, but Sissy is a bit high strung. She's got a sister cat that she tolerates but is not bonded to. Recently my husband and I adopted a kitten. Since this has happened, Sissy has emphatically let us know that she does not wish to put up with his zoomies and other kitten foolishness. She has become very unhappy and is currently having to stay mostly separated from the other two cats. Her sister has bonded with the new kitten. We have come to understand that she would be much happier in a home where she is an only pet. She loves to be petted and scratched. She's ok to spend long periods of time by herself, but would be happy to see her human again once he/she returns. She'd love to sit right next to someone and receive attention -- and probably get in your lap too. Her favorite activity is napping! She loves to lay on a blanket or soft pillow. She has never scratched our furniture -- but does like the scratching post. We believe she could be great company for someone who needs a calm cat and who could turn her into the snuggle bunny we know she wants to be. She would just require a period of adjustment to her new surroundings. But with no other pets to tolerate, we think she'd adjust in no time.
