Sinker's Story

Sinker was found with her sister Bobber in a trailer park. They are both quite nervous still around people, but are very sweet and purr when pet. They could be adopted together, or with an established cat in the home. They loved playing with other cats in their foster home, but take a while to warm up to humans. Churus, laser play, and treats definitely help them get close.

Location: Chow Hound 734 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548

Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, fill out an application online at www.figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt

Adoption Fee: $131.25

Fig and Friends Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
~We do not adopt to homes with animals who are not spayed or neutered unless there is a valid reason such as vet recommendation. ~We do check references including landlord if you rent and your vet both past and present. ~We do not adopt to homes that plan on declawing the cat we have adopted out to you or that plan on letting a cat outside (unless on a leash and harness under owner's continued observation). ~If we see something on your application that we are concerned about, we will always try and have a conversation with you to find out the why. We understand you might have declawed a cat in the past or had to rehome an animal. It can happen to anyone. We like to dig deeper and won't deny someone just based on surface information.
