Simba's Story

Simba was given his name because he is such a brave boy. He was the last of his litter to be captured after three days on his own. It was traumatic for him, so he's a little slower to trust because of it, but he has started purring. He will appreciate gentle understanding and patience. The trust and confidence he will gain in you will be a wonderful reward.
Like all kittens his age, he enjoys toys of all kinds, interactive play, especially dangle toys, and loving attention. He will be a sweet friend and companion. He has had his claws trimmed, and has had a cardboard scratch pad.
He plays well with his siblings, and is young enough to be very adaptable, so would do well with another cat. For someone with a dog, it would need to be one who has been with another cat or would not get in his face, giving him time and space to learn that it will be OK. He could also do well with children who have or are willing to learn good cat manners.
Contact Beth Karlsen, 913-645-4327, or bkarlsen.hahs@gmail.com to arrange a meet and greet with Simba.
