Meet Silverfish

Please Note: We are currently transitioning back to in-home visitations with approved applications. We are also happy to provide a virtual meeting (FaceTime, Skype, etc) so you can see the kitten or cat you're interested in adopting with an approved application.

Meet Silverfish,

Silverfish is a beautiful, 9-week-old, gray short haired male. He was born into foster care with his brothers Grasshopper, Cricket and Cicada. Their mother Winnie was a friendly, but un-owned young cat. She was persuaded into a crate in a shed and actually gave birth a few days later. All five went into foster care where they were given a healthy diet, shelter and medical care. Winnie, though adjusting to indoor life, allowed her babies to be handled and monitored by their foster parents.

Silverfish loves being an indoor cat and is very chill and relaxed, refined and sophisticated. He keeps himself neat and trim. He carefully calculates and measures each step before taking it - and enjoys perching on your knee, arm rests, or table tops just like a little bird. Silverfish is used to a quieter home, but could likely adjust to any environment. And while he'd like to stay with his brother Grasshopper - he is also happy to go alone and be the center of attention in his forever home!

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. To complete an adoption application for Silverfish, please visit the link below:

Please note: We practice social distancing. To keep our volunteers safe from handling cash during the virus epidemic, we will only accept online credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions at this time.

Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved. Please ask questions if you're interested in any of our cats.
