SID was brought to the shelter when he couldn't get along with the family's big dogs. Sadly, the dogs made the home a scary, possibly dangerous place to a cat.
SID is a handsome, big guy who may look tough, and will stand up for himself, if needed! But he is really a big marshmallow at heart! He loves being petted, head scratches, even the occasional belly rub. SID will often run to visitors for a pet, and he can be vocal when he wants to be noticed. However, if your attention is on another cat, he will stand back. Unfortunately, he is in a room with several cute girls and other big guys, so he is often overlooked. At three years old, SID is still young enough to be playful. But he seems to always be watching, perhaps looking out for threats. It would be so wonderful for this boy to find a home without other animals, especially dogs. Given the chance to live in a home where he is comfortable and doesn't have to be on guard against being hurt, SID might rediscover his playful side. All he wants is a chance of being loved with lots of pets and belly rubs in his forever home!
