One of the cats who made the journey to us was a beautiful orange-and-white girl we named Shohei.<br/><br/>She didn't have to wait long.<br/><br/>Shohei was adopted almost immediately and spent the past year and a half with a family who absolutely adored her.<br/><br/>Then life changed.<br/><br/>Their son developed a heart condition that sadly means he can no longer be around pets. Faced with an impossible decision, the family tearfully brought Shohei back to us.
