Shilo's Story

Shiloh arrived the end of August as an owner surrender. Her previous owner was struggling to make ends meet and couldn't give her the time and attention Shiloh deserved. It was a loving, selfless decision, and she trusted us to find Shiloh the kind of home and family where she'll be cherished and truly thrive. We take that trust seriously.

Shiloh is a sweet, mellow two-year-old purebred Persian with a quiet, inquisitive nature. She purrs often and loves to cuddle. If you sit on the floor, she'll quickly crawl right into your lap. And she loves to be brushed, so a gentle grooming routine will be a joy for her. And catnip... she is crazy for catnip!

She simply lives for a high perch! Her favorite spots are a soft blanket on top of the dresser or on the bed frame, where she can survey her kingdom. She prefers a hidden litter box for privacy. And if you spot a pair of beautiful, constellation-like eyes peeking out from a rainbow taffeta skirt or a spider face mask, that's Shiloh, who adores our costume bucket and has claimed it as her own.

What Shiloh needs in a home:
-A calm, quiet environment where she can settle in and feel safe
-Lots of lap time, cuddles, and regular brushing
-High perches and soft blankets to claim
-No kittens, please. She dislikes them.
-No other female cats. She's been afraid of the two she's lived around.
-Dogs and children are fine. She's indifferent to both.

We aren't looking for just any home for Shiloh. We're looking for the right one: a family who will love her, give her the time and attention she's been missing, and watch her blossom into the best version of herself.

She's already the sweetest girl, and we know she has so much more to show the right people.

If you think you might be Shiloh's perfect fit, we'd love to hear from you.

Orphan Annie's Neonatal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential Adopters must first submit a written application. A member of our team does a preliminary check of the application for any red flags such as pet allergies or no permission to have pets with renters. We then call references, vet practices for insight on the potential adopter. We determine if the animal they are interested in will be a good fit for their life and their environment. We then set up in person meet and greets. We do not do same day adoptions at adoption events. We must have time to properly evaluate the application. We do not do meet and greets without an approved adopter. If the meet goes well, and the animal is fixed, microchipped, vaccinated, and healthy, they can take the animal after fee is paid and contract is signed.
