Shamus (Needs to be Adopted w/Littermate)'s Story

Meet Shamus! Shamus came to CCHS with his mom Patty, and his 3 siblings towards the very beginning of March as strays from the Greenwood area at just 6 weeks old. This darling gray tabby is now about 13 weeks old and weighs roughly 2.6lbs currently. Shamus is a total goof! He doesn't have the best spatial awareness at times, but that's only because he doesn't feel that personal space should exist in the first place! Shamus does need to be adopted with one of his siblings, but luckily our cat adoptions are always two for one so adopting two will be a breeze! Shamus and his siblings currently reside in our Kitty City with a multitude of other feline friends. Apply for Shamus today!

Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can click on "More About Us" to the right and then click on "Adoption Application" button which will take you to our website where you can actually apply. You can also go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you!

Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response.

The adoption fee is $50. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for FeLV/FIV. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.
