Shadow Domestic Short Hair Mix Lowell, MA

Shadow is a very sweet and shy 6 year old boy who needs a lot of time to decompress when he is in a new environment. He came in with his brother Geronimo who he got along with well on an individual level, so we think Shadow could do well with another cat as long as proper introductions are done. We are open to sending them home together, so please let us know if you are interested in the pair. Since he is a skittish boy and it does take a while for him to come out of his shell, we think that Shadow would do best in a home without dogs. If you have children in the home, we are asking that they be older, teenager aged kids who have experience with cats and reading cat body language. One thing that we have noticed is that Shadow loves his catnip, and will melt in your hands after just a few minutes of indulging in it! If you have questions about whether or not you're household would be a good fit for Shadow, please make sure to speak with an adoption counselor to ensure it would be a good match.
