Bonded pairs will not be split up.<br/><br/>Seeley came to our rescue after the brutal winter storm on Staten Island. This handsome boy was spotted by a Good Samaritan in a parking lot, running around in distress, desperately searching for help and food.<br/><br/>She immediately began looking for his owners, posting on social media—but sadly, no one came forward. Still, she kept returning to the location to make sure he had something to eat while trying to find him help.<br/><br/>When one of our volunteers came across the post and heard his cries, her heart broke. She didn’t hesitate and offered to foster this sweet boy.<br/><br/>Once Seeley was safely with us, we took him to the vet and learned that he had already been neutered—but he wasn’t microchipped. We held onto hope that he may have gotten lost and that someone was looking for him. But as time passed, it became clear… no one was coming.<br/><br/>Another life, abandoned.<br/><br/>Despite everything he’s been through, Seeley is the sweetest, most gentle soul. We truly cannot understand how anyone could leave him behind—but we made him a promise: he will never have to fight for safety or love again.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a kind, affectionate companion, Seeley would make the perfect addition to your family—especially with kids

Strays Hope for Life's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is quick and easy and it includes several steps. 1. Adoption application (you can find on our website www.strayshopeforliferescue.org) 2. Meet and greet with the kittens/cats virtually or in person (arranged as soon as your application is processed) 3. Home check to ensure the kittens/cats are going to a safe environment 4. Adoption fee for the fully vetted kitten under 8 month old is $200 or $350 for a pair. The adoption fee for a cat over 8 months old is $175. The adoption fee for the adults and the seniors varies. 5. Transport is available anywhere in NYC/NJ/LI areas.
