Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue sick, injured and abandoned felines while working to reduce the overpopulation of community and feral cats through Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR). We provide compassionate medical care and foster support to cats in need, subsequently placing them into safe, loving homes where they can thrive. Through TNR, rescue, and community education, we are committed to improving the lives of cats and preventing future generations from being born into life on the streets.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is quick and easy and it includes several steps.
1. Adoption application (you can find on our website www.strayshopeforliferescue.org). You MUST be 25 years or older to fill out the application or to be considered eligible to adopt one of the animals from Strays Hope for Life Animal Rescue
2. Meet and greet with the kittens/cats virtually or in person (arranged as soon as your application is processed)
3. Home check to ensure the kittens/cats are going to a safe environment
4. Adoption donation fee for the fully vetted kitten or young cat under 2 years old is $200 or $350 for a pair. The adoption fee for a cat over 2 years is $175. The adoption fee for the adults and the seniors varies.
5. Transport is available anywhere in NYC/NJ/LI areas.
6. Adoptions are available strictly in NYC/NJ/LI areas.
