Scottie's Story

Meet Scottie!

*Scottie is eligible for the Best Friend Bonus promotion. Adopt any KAT cat/kitten and a bestie is included. One adoption fee double the love!*

Scottie may be tiny, but she's one of the toughest little kittens you'll ever meet. When she arrived in our care, she was in heartbreaking condition. Three botflies had burrowed into her face, leaving her with painful, infected wounds on her head. She was itchy, uncomfortable, and healing from injuries no kitten should have to endure. Through it all, though, Scottie never let her rough start dim her spirit. Even while she was recovering, she still sought out affection, greeted people with curiosity, and embraced every bit of love she could get.

Now that she's feeling better, Scottie's playful personality is shining brighter than ever. She's an energetic, adventurous kitten who loves chasing toys, zooming around the room, and convincing her feline and canine friends to join in the fun. She would thrive in a home where she has plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and burn off all that kitten energy.

Scottie gets along wonderfully with other cats and enjoys playing with cat-friendly dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. She would likely do well with respectful children who understand that she's more interested in playing than being carried around. While she isn't a traditional lap cat and prefers not to be held, she's incredibly social in her own way-you'll often find her hopping onto the couch for cuddles or climbing onto your shoulders for a quick visit before she's off on her next adventure.

Scottie's story is a testament to how resilient animals can be. Despite everything she's been through, she has chosen joy, playfulness, and trust. If you're looking for a kitten with an incredible spirit, endless entertainment, and a heart that's already proven how strong it is, Scottie is ready to write the next chapter of her story with a family of her own.

Young kittens will typically acclimate to dogs and kids with proper introductions.

Scottie will be ready to go home after 7/26.

This cat has been spayed/neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and is microchipped.

Adoption application:

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/KYAT/Cat

Many of our animals are pre-approved for adoption before and never make an appearance on Petfinder, so follow us on social media for information on additional animals that are adoptable or soon-to-be adoptable at:

https://m.facebook.com/kyanimaltales/

Instagram: @kyanimaltales
