Meet Sassy

My name is Sassy and I'm an adult Domestic Shorthair that was found as a stray with a broken leg. Thankfully someone found me and brought me to BAAP. I did need to have my back leg amputated, after my surgery I was able to spend my recovery time in a foster home. Now that I'm completely healed and moving around fine, I'm ready to find my forever home. Since I was a stray when I was found I'm not used to people too much but after spending some time in a foster home and being around my caretakers, I've learned to like people. I would love to be in a quiet home while I adjust to being in a home. I have been spayed, up to date on all vaccines, wormed, rabies, tested negative for Feline FIV/LvK, and microchipped.

Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld, O'Fallon or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.
