Sasha's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Sasha is a lovely young tuxedo girl, about a year old, with a soft, flowing coat and a gentle, thoughtful nature. She was rescued from a rural area where her future was uncertain, but thanks to her foster home, she’s now safe, cared for, and ready to find a peaceful place to call her own.

Sasha is what her foster mom calls a “quiet observer.” When things get busy or noisy, she prefers to step back and watch from a safe spot. But once the house settles down—when the kids are in bed and the evening quiet sets in—that’s when Sasha shines. She’ll quietly join you on the couch or nearby, happy just to be in your presence.

She’s not a cat who demands attention or wants to be picked up, but she does enjoy a few gentle pets and will be your calm, steady companion. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance friend who will sit with you while you unwind, listen to your day, and keep you company in a quiet way, Sasha is your girl.

Because of her sensitive nature, Sasha would do best in a calm, quiet home. Older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle and give her space would be just fine. She gets along well with other cats and would also be comfortable with a calm, cat-friendly dog.

Sasha may be a little shy at first, but for the right person, she will be a peaceful and comforting presence—always nearby, quietly sharing life with you.

If you’re looking for a gentle, low-key companion to share your quiet moments, Sasha is waiting for you

The adoption fee is $120

Sasha is around one year old. She has been spayed and vaccinated. She is litter box trained.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info

Pawsitivity's Adoption Policy
Adopter understands that kittens/cats available for adoption have been rescued from a variety of situations, including neglect/abuse, as such could be subject to health or behavioral problems not known at this time. Adopter agrees and accepts the kitten/cat with this understanding. The kittens/cats are healthy and up to date on all vaccines and medical treatments which were necessary for the health of the kitten/cat. Rescuer/foster makes no further guarantees or warranties of any kind for health of the kitten/cat and that the adopter assumes all risks at/from the time of initial possession and following. Adopter understands full responsibility for the health and welfare of the adopted kitten/cat for the duration of the natural life. The responsibility includes all costs for veterinary and health needs, housing and shelter, food and any other expenses related to care and welfare. Adopter agrees to contact a veterinarian to follow up vaccines, if needed. Adopter understands that declawing cats is a cruel procedure and will not do that to the adopted kitten/cat. Adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee/donation. We do not have an adoption application, but we do want to speak to the potential adopter and ask a few questions in order to make sure we find the right fit for our cats/kittens.
