Sasha - Senior sweetie Siamese Houston, TX

Sasha should be winding down and enjoying the comforts of a home in her golden years. Things turned upside down for Sasha when she was abandoned outside by her owner. Understandably frightened and confused Sasha attempted to seek shelter and got stuck in the attic of a neighboring home. After hearing her desperate cries she was rescued by some nice people. Despite her circumstances she has adjusted amazingly well in her foster home. We are hoping to find a forever home for her last years possibly with another senior that she can snuggle and share some lap time. One of her favorite bonding moments with her humans is a good brushing/grooming session. She will let you know how pleased she is with her comfy circumstances by purring loudly and giving you a demo of her expert kitty biscuit making skills. She is very low maintenance and prefers her days napping in her cat bed, gazing out the window or relaxing in the sunbeams. Although she really enjoys the company of people Sasha would be perfectly fine left solo for periods of time especially for those folks that have long work days away from home. She would probably shine in a quiet home with maybe a single person or a couple. A small studio or apartment would be ideal. Being a bit shy she gets overwhelmed with big spaces and prefers a designated spot that she can call her own. Although we do not know her exact age since she is a rescue, we suspect she is about 10 years old. Senior indoor kitties can live well into their teen years and if well cared for some senior cats can live well into their second decade of life. It is our hope that Sasha can wind down with someone who appreciates a mature cat and is willing to share the next chapter with her and make it a forever home. Forget those crazy kitten times this girl just wants to relax and chill with her human companion.
