Sam's Story
There’s something wonderfully distinguished about Sam. With his long, elegant face and soulful green eyes, he has the look of a true gentleman.

At about 16 years young, Sam still enjoys life’s simple pleasures—watching the birds from a sunny window, curling up in your lap, chasing a favorite toy, and ending the day snuggled beside his favorite person. His family describes him as affectionate, mellow, playful, talkative, and incredibly sweet.

When Sam first arrived at UPAWS, he was understandably a little shy after losing the person he loved. But within just a few days, his true personality began to shine. You can tell he was deeply loved, and now he’s hoping someone will open their heart and love him just as much.

Sam has lived happily with another cat, enjoys being held, welcomes belly rubs, and is happiest sharing his home with his people. He’s the kind of companion who won’t demand the spotlight—he’ll quietly become one of the best parts of your day.

Thanks to the generosity of Andi Goriesky of Select Realty, Sam’s adoption fee has been sponsored! His adoption fee is $0... but if you ask us, he’s worth a million bucks.

No appointment is needed to meet our cats. Stop by during our open hours and spend a few minutes with this sweet, distinguished gentleman. We think you’ll fall in love.
