Meet Rukka - Rukka is a beautiful smart calico lady with a big meow and a happy purr. Rukka likes to play, be held, and petted and brushed and she really really seeks out human companionship and love. She also tolerates other cats and is currently residing with Tatiana in her foster home - she is brave & not phased by a 70 pound boxer terrier foster dog (who is good with cats but they only see one another through a glass door). She is a confident kitty named after Rukka Sombolinggi an Indigenous Torajan leader and community activist from the mountains of Indonesia who is known for her fiery oratory and her longtime dedication to the indigenous rights movement and fighting the harms of climate change. Rukka the cat is a sweetheart and strong kitty too and wants to hang with her foster people and raise her voice for all-things-cat. She was found as a skinny stray by a good samaritan but is now plumping up and getting the TLC she deserves. Rukka will make a two legged family very happy & will also do fine in a solo home if you can only have one kitty - please give her a chance.

She has tested Felv/FIV/HW negative, is UTD on vaccines, has been dewormed, spayed and microchipped. An adopter with a documented history of annual feline veterinary care is required.
