Rose's Story

Meet Rose!

Rose is a stunning young tortie girl, estimated to be about 1-2 years old, with a mostly black coat sprinkled with beautiful tortoiseshell coloring. She's as lovely in personality as she is in appearance.

This sweet, quiet girl is naturally curious and observant. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, investigating anything new, and quietly keeping up with whatever her people are doing. Rose has a funny habit of following you from room to room just to see what's going on--if she can't come in, she'll definitely let you know she has thoughts about it.

Rose is especially fond of calm cats and enjoys spending time near her feline friends (including a polite "hello" visit with kittens--though she does have a limit and will excuse herself when she's done). She seems fine with other cats, and her comfort with dogs or children is still unknown.

Rose would thrive in a home that appreciates a gentle, curious companion who likes to be involved in daily life without being overwhelming. She's the kind of cat who simply wants to be near her people, quietly sharing in whatever the day brings.Adoption Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Raskel's Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our main goal is to place animals in the right home to increase owner retention. For example, we would avoid placing a highly active dog into a sedentary home. Our application does not allow for anyone to apply for a specific animal, it is more of a questionnaire so that it has people think about what they are looking for. Such as an active dog vs a calm dog or a dog that needs grooming often vs a short haired dog. We just want to make the right match for your household.
