Roo came running to her foster on the street looking for affection and love and she hasn’t stopped. She thrives on human interaction. <br/><br/>When she wants attention, she will roll over and nudge in the cutest possible way. She’s mostly quiet, but will occasionally meep at you to say hello or gain your attention. In addition to her cute white paws and pink belly, she has the most adorable brownish red button nose that is very distinct. She’s observant and gazes up at you with her green eyes when she cuddles, almost showing her gratitude for your love and safety. <br/><br/>Roo is both independent and affectionate. She does not like to be picked up, but she will jump up to your level and nudge you for snuggles. She will sit by your side quietly (not in your lap) purring and sharing her sweet cuddly personality. She will sleep at your feet quietly. She is both trusting and cautious with her environment. <br/><br/>Although she required very little socialization with her human foster family, she takes time with other pets, with the exception of her brother Cowboy. She cuddles and plays with him and patiently puts up with his rambunctious personality. She’s quiet, loyal, gentle, and sweet. Roo fully has the ability and temperament to win over your whole heart immediately, which she will repay ten times in the sweetest snuggles and nudges.<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in San Pedro. Meet & greets / pickup will be coordinated upon approved application & homecheck video. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. <br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
