Rommel is a sweet boy and an absolute purr machine. Rommel came to us as a stray and we estimate him to be just around a year old. Rommel is a typical good natured boy, who just wants to be with you to cuddle and play. <br/><br/>The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Shelter! All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea-treated and micro-chipped prior to adoption.<br/>Adoption Fee: $85.<br/><br/>If you are interested in a pet, please call ahead at 760-725-8120 to ensure the pet is still at the shelter, and to answer a few questions. Even if you don't have regular/normal access to the base, please DO give us a call, and we will work with you to arrange a meeting with the pet that interests you. 760-725-8120

Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We would love for you to get acquainted with our adoptable dogs and cats.  Find one you like? Then give us a call to make sure that pet is still at the shelter. If all goes well, just pay the adoption fee and you are off on your way with your new furry friend.  We accept cash or Visa or Mastercard, no checks.  If you currently own a dog, please bring your pet and children, so we may do a interaction with all family members.   - Dog adoption fee is $110. - Cat adoption fee is $85.
