Meet Rogue & Colossus (special needs)
Special needs: Blind, supplements
No spay/neuter surgery needed at this time - see below
Rogue (white) and Colossus (orange) started their journey with BCC in December with their sister Pixie (RIP). They came to us emaciated, unkempt, infested with fleas and yet .. it was love at first sight for us.
They are SO sweet. They will run right up to you to greet you and they will climb all over you. Special needs cats and kittens need a chance!
Let’s start with the obvious - their eyes, yes they’re in there somewhere and no they can’t see, however we were convinced they could until a specialist told us otherwise but truly you would never know.
Now the less obvious - their genitalia, they have both male and female sex organs, what are the chances!? Neither of these require any treatment or have any effect on their longevity or happiness. Rogue does have a B12 deficiency and will require a lifelong supplement which they eat happily in a pill pocket.
We have encountered countless cats and kittens through our years at BCC and in life and truly these two are special. The words are hard to find but simply put - they make a bad day good and a good day better ?
